Young competition winner has very unusual request.

Competition-winner Emily had a very unusual request when it came to the make-over of her bedroom…Vultures!

Along with another essential requirement for ‘rainbows’, children’s interior design specialist Diana Stroh set about trying to incorporate both, in a way that Emily and her Mum would approve.

A few weeks later and the make-over is almost complete!

Emily is now delighted that she sleeps under a huge rainbow mural, based on colours taken from her Mum’s favourite Grimm’s wooden toys, and ‘Lovely’ a stencilled vulture now adorns the previously plain wardrobe doors.

A trio of hand-made, cloud-shaped shelves should offer Emily a place to show off her most prized possessions, when she’s told her Dad exactly where she wants them..! Whilst the Ikea storage baskets, full to the brim with cuddly toys from Emily’s bed, fit snuggly out-of-sight, behind a cupboard door.
