Experienced Suffolk-based designer, Diana Stroh, uses a tried-and-tested system for designing kids’ rooms by creating maximum storage from the space available, and only moves onto the aesthetics once every clutter-busting option has been considered and decided upon, thereby ensuring that all childhood activities and relevant equipment are catered for.
This hour-long ‘chat over coffee’ gives you an opportunity to decide whether Diana is the right person to solve your design problems with no financial obligation, and it’s hoped both parties will get on well enough to progress to the next stage.
This stage commences with a site visit, usually an hour in duration, where comprehensive measurements and photos are taken. There’s also an opportunity for all the family to discuss their needs and ideas with Diana before she heads off to start on your design!
Here your needs are translated into hand-drawn, full colour plans and elevations showing how your kid's new room will look, based on the budget available, complete with a samples board detailing the overall feel of the new design, all presented in a stylish folder for you to keep.
During her final visit, Diana talks you through the finished design, including the steps needed for you to create it for real yourself. Or, if you'd still prefer a little help, Diana can manage the project too.
If finding the time to manage your project is proving difficult, you can always instruct Diana to take on the work for you. At a cost of £25 per hour, Diana will keep you fully informed of issues and time-frames to ensure minimum outlay and peace-of-mind.
