About Diana

Experienced Suffolk-based designer, Diana Stroh, owner of children’s interiors company Dreams and Wishes, uses a tried-and-tested system for designing kid’s rooms by creating maximum storage from the space available.

Whilst most of us start a home improvement project with colour charts and fabric samples Diana only moves onto the aesthetic aspects of the design once every clutter-busting option has been considered and decided upon between you and the kids, so that all childhood activities and equipment are catered for.

Diana knows busy families are sometimes reluctant to start decorating their kid’s rooms, fearing weeks of upheaval and spiralling costs for instance, and ensures her clients are in full control of the whole process with help only a phone call away.

Diana's design career started way back in the late eighties when she began working for the iconic kitchen company Smallbone, as part of a small team creating luxury interiors for the rich and famous.
However, things took an unexpected twist a few years later when she was accepted as a police officer in Suffolk, serving her local force for over twenty years before the lure of the design world got the better of her once again, and Dreams and Wishes was formed.

'I spent many years working with child victims of crime in the police, learning about their physical and emotional development, and decided to combine this knowledge with my love of design to focus on kid's rooms...' says Diana '...and Dreams and Wishes is the only kid's interior design service in Suffolk where parents can buy everything they need to decorate their own kid's rooms too.'

Aware that many parents might see the cost of an interior designer for their kids as an unnecessary expense, Diana offers a free, no obligation 'chat over coffee' to explain how she can help create a functional kid-friendly, family home, with oodles of storage, so the kids are more organised and the grown-ups less stressed.
